Coactive Collaborative Disability Services

Coactive aims to lessen the impact of disability by providing reliable, flexible home and community based support for disabled people. Through the service, disabled people are supported to participate in their community and have increasing choice about, and control over, what they do.

Our service is aligned with the government’s disability strategy to focus on improving choice and control in the lives of disabled people.

Coactive provides support to disabled people no matter what level of care they require. Our trained staff develop individually-tailored support plans with clients and their families, giving them choices and involving them in all decisions. Coactive is free to disabled people living in Central and South Auckland referred by Taikura Trust or ACC.

At Coactive, we believe that all people should have their needs fully met and have support for their individual growth and autonomy. We have a vision of a non-disabling society that enables everyone to:

  • have real choices and feel in control;
  • have a sense of satisfaction and contribution in the things that they do;
  • feel secure and supported when needed;
  • be as involved as possible
